Assessment is the first step in our understanding of your organization’s needs. Our process begins using surveys and one-on-one interviews across the organization.

During the immersion process, we communicate and observe your organization at all levels and all interactions to discover trends, opportunities, and challenges.

Team Development

The technical challenges organizations need to solve today are too complex for one individual to handle.

We provide individual training to team leaders and members to enable your leadership management to build teams that work well together.

We facilitate communication, establish rapport, clarify objectives, role clarity and interdependency of roles and responsibilities for both leaders and team members across the organization. We help evaluate and develop processes for effective team dynamics.

Leadership Development

Leadership and management must go hand in hand, although they are not the same, they are linked and complementary. In a biotech organization, value comes from the “knowledgeable people”, and they look to their management, not just to assign them a task, but to define for them a purpose. Managers must not just maximize efficiency, but to lead them by nurturing their skills, developing talent, and inspiring results.

Organizational Design and Culture Development

If we want to break the cycle, and start getting consistently excellent results we have to start by creating practices and norms that allow for consistency and excellence. We need to reinforce a solid foundation by using corporate philosophy, core values and a change process to build an effective culture. Organizations need a set of norms and values that will guide the behavior of your organization. Culture is the personality of your organization; it is what your people do when no one is looking.

We work with executives and employees to define the core values that are then implemented and embraced company-wide by all.

We will see the organization through inevitable resistance to change and adaptation period by providing focus, tools, support, and encouragement to implement the cultural changes.

Coaching

Traditionally, managers learn how to manage on the job, mostly by trial and error. Due to the fast pace in biotech, the managers are often overworked because they haven’t learned to delegate effectively. As a result, many struggle with forming productive relationships, communicating, and delegating responsibility.

Coaching is provided for feedback and practice and is focused on specific situations and tasks. During the immersion process, we use direct coaching or work with managers using real-time challenges.

Working with your employees, we help them understand how to improve their performance, either by enhancing current skills or by acquiring new ones.

Mentoring

Mentoring is a strategic initiative that pairs less seasoned managers and employees with those who can provide not only the practical, experiential wisdom they have, but also a supportive environment whereby the less seasoned manager or employees can share the real issues impacting success. Mentoring is aimed to create a more effective contribution to the company’s overall goals. Mentors help develop the individual not only for the current job, but also for the future.
